The Foxwood Chronicles

Synopsis

Fate can make a hero out of even the least of us.

The Foxwood Chronicles is an ongoing story, and still under production. Set on a fantasy world, the Chronicles feature not one, but eight intelligent races, each with their own culture, history, and beliefs, and each trying to exist peacefully alongside the others.

As history has often shown on our own world, however, it only takes a few people in positions of power, with sufficient motivation, desperation, or madness to bring down the fragile alliances that exist between kingdoms, plunging a continent into war. The Chronicles sees the beginnings of a conflict between the great nations of the Freelands and the Western Provinces, a war that seems to make little sense to those involved, but one they cannot seem to avoid, as their enemies press upon them from all sides.

How far would you go, if someone told you that you never had to die?

Becoming one of the first victims of the war, Feran "Feral" Foxwood finds himself in the middle of the conflict, in possession of a power that could be the turning point of the conflict - if he can use it. He and his companions must race to prevent the reassembly of an ancient magical artefact, the Dragon Staff, for with it the dragons of ancient times can be ressurected, and set upon the lands. Aided by friends in the ranks of both nations, these unlikely heroes must try to keep the war from destroying both kingdoms, for then the dark armies can surely conquer the continent, and perhaps even the world.

Please note that it will be very helpful to have read the page about the population of the chronicles before launching into the story, as some concepts may seem a little strange otherwise.
