A vessel for the soul of Tyrandius, an ancient and dark mage of fearsome power, the Eye of Night eternally exerts its influence over the Brotherhood. Able to prey upon the darkest fears of the onlooker, the Eye contains every bit of the great power it was once imbued with centuries in the past, and strikes bargains with those it deems useful, trading knowledge or promises of power in order to further its own cause. A body for the soul within it.
Members of particular note and import to the story are Alginon Redclaw, Kerwin Blackwood, Lennan Greyfang, Gilroy Burrowfield, and Jehone Briarthorn. Between them, these five form a dedicated core of nobles to back Tiernach by threat or action as necessary.
