Adopted by Maximillian while still just a baby, Aleana is ever the peacemaker. Stable and level headed, she accepts the responsibility that comes with her honorary title, and often mediates disputes between Freelands and Lordenor, proving to be unbiased in her judgement.
It is perhaps this natural diplomacy that allows her to see past the obvious conclusion when trouble begins between Lordenor and the Freelands. Aided by Troyston Goldwood and Fellirion Forrester, she undertakes the difficult task of identifying the true cause of the vicious attacks on both lands, while attempting to keep her actions a secret from her father.
